A New Season — A New Design!

The off-season is when athletes prepare for the next competition. For us, it was time to prepare ScoreLab for its next chapter.

Over the past few months, we have been working on a major redesign and rebuild of the system — both on the outside and under the hood.

We completely reworked the interface, making it cleaner, more modern and easier to use. We also introduced multilingual support, meaning ScoreLab is now technically ready to operate in virtually any language and reach audiences far beyond its original Russian-speaking environment.

A significant part of the work happened behind the scenes as well. We substantially rewrote the frontend code to reduce server load and improve overall performance. The result is a faster, more responsive system, particularly when working with large volumes of data.

ScoreLab is becoming a multisport platform.

The system was originally created specifically for water polo. Today, its architecture is ready to be adapted to virtually any team sport — combining the statistical tools and principles we have developed over the years with the unique requirements of each game.

And that brings us to another important change.

It is time for a new name.

The name W-Polo served us well, but it reflected where we started. ScoreLab reflects where we are going.

This is not a departure from our roots. It is the next stage in the evolution of a system that began as a water polo statistics platform and has grown into something capable of supporting multiple sports.

A new season. A new design. New possibilities.
And a new name for the same idea — making sports statistics better.

Welcome to ScoreLab.
